I’ve been reading your stuff here and on poorbuthappy. I love it! I am moving to Colombia in just over a month to live for 6-12 months before moving to America. I know nothing about the place or jobs whatever. Do you have any suggestions? I’ve been teaching English in China at Universities and private places for almost 2 years and have a uni degree in my country Australia as well. My boyfriend is actually Colombian and is researching jobs but I thuoght you might know more – having actually done it.
Do you have any recommendations as to good places to work and shall I apply from my home country or just wait to arrive? I’ll be living in Cali as well which is obviously a factor, but any insights would be great.
