Text sizing is hard, but it’s worth the effort. The more I tinker with different units, the more I learn. I think I’ve reached a happy medium with my current text sizing.

Default paragraph Text. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod tempor invidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliquyam erat, sed diam voluptua. The typical weblog repeats that series 15+ times on the homepage. I don’t want my users to scroll forever and I’m not alone (see end of Michael’s comment).
Headings may be a different issue… but that body text looks great for me. The default is the norm. Adapt to the world instead of expecting the world to adapt to you. If you don’t like the default size your browser uses, change it.
